Making the most of your ultrasound training trip to San Francisco

Since opening our new San Francisco training center, our students have been asking what there is to do while visiting.  People are not just coming to receive ultrasound training; they are traveling to a premier tourist destination and are using their free time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of our booming city.

The 2013 America’s Cup brings the best sailors and the fastest boats in the world to the San Francisco waterfront.  With a gorgeous, brand-new spectator venue on the Embarcadero, the America’s Cup will be one of the most exciting and fun activities that San Francisco has to offer this summer.

While you are town be sure to visit the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.  You will get the most bang for your buck with exhibits including a rainforest dome, planetarium, aquarium, and living roof.  Nightlife on Thursday nights is a more grown-up, glamorous version of the Academy complete with cocktails, music, and unique weekly themes!

Definitely don’t forget to check out San Francisco’s world-class culinary scene!  From fine dining at the San Francisco Ferry Building to hip dining districts like the Valencia Corridor, San Francisco has a little bit of something for everyone.
